UPDATE of work: so I have completed my MFA and here are some pics of the finished show. My work has become more abstract with less formal qualities and a focus on an emotional energy within the rectangle.

Spring Semester Work inspired by ink, african/oceanic art
SO...this painting isn't MY painting but its one of my FAVORITES!! Its by the best: Matisse...majority of my inspiration!
